ADMISSION TO THE SCHOOL 

To enter Standard 1, Children generally have to be in their 5/6th year and must have attended a Reception Class at Legae or a registered Nursery School/Crèche. All Children who are new to the school must sit an Entrance Test for the requested standard.

After submitting the application, copy of birth certificate, copy of the last school report and paying the P50 registration fee parents will be informed of the date and time of the next entrance test. For entry into the school at the start of the year entrance tests are held in October of the previous year.

Children who pass the entrance test will then be put on the waiting list for that Standard. Children who fail the test are put on the waiting list for a standard lower.

SCHOOL FEES

School fees are payable in advance. Fee dates are available at the school and from the Newsletters which are sent home.

Places are forfeited if fees are not paid by the DAY BEFORE term starts, unless prior arrangements have been made with the Management.

A P100 PENALTY fee applies if fees are paid after the deadline. NO FEES will be accepted on the first day of school since places have been forfeited at this stage. There is a P250 PENALTY fee applicable on R/D cheque

-            School fees for Reception at present are P3000 per term. (2009)

-            School fees for Standard 1 are P3600 per term. (2009)

-            School fees for Standard 2-7 are P3995 per term. (2009).

WITHDRAWAL FROM THE SCHOOL

1.  One term’s WRITTEN notice is to be given to the administrator or payment in-lieu.

2.  Parents who are transferred without sufficient notice are exempt from 1), provided they submit documentary proof from their Employers, and provided the transfer is before or within the first week of the term.

3.  Parents who have already paid the term’s School fees and are transferred under step 2),the fee will be refunded less 10%. Under all other circumstances fees are forfeited.

 PROMOTION

Children are promoted to the next standard on merit. Promotion is not automatic. Both the Child’s performance and behavior are considered before a Child is promoted.
