and both Legae Primary School
and Legae Academy (Secondary)
share a basic commitment to
providing a secure and caring
environment that facilitates a

Their common logo shows young
birds being reared in their
nest. The motto “Every Child Is
Yours” reflects the indigenous
tradition in Botswana that all
members of a community have a
collective responsibility in
molding the next generation. |
Legae is a friendly, caring private
school aiming to provide the best all
round education for each child through a
partnership between parents, staff and
children. The emphasis throughout our
school is upon progress and the
development of each child as an
individual. The purpose of this website
is to give parents/ careers and members
of the community an insight into life at
Legae Primary. It expresses the
principles that are important to us and
the ways in which they influence the
curriculum and organization of the
